A shop-vac gets the visible puddle. Our Water Extraction process is built for what's still soaking into materials underneath, which is where the real damage lives.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
We'd rather explain the water extraction process clearly upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Commercial extraction units outpull portable equipment on every surface type we work with.
We test multiple points across the affected area before calling extraction complete.
Local staging near Glen Ellen cuts the wait between your call and equipment arriving.
You know the number before extraction starts, based on what we actually find.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
Specialized wands lift water between boards without forcing moisture deeper into the wood.
We weigh larger sections before and after extraction to confirm actual moisture removal.
Extraction dwell time gets adjusted based on how porous the specific concrete surface is.
We flag salvageable contents before starting so you're not guessing what to keep.
We don't sign off on extraction without a documented reading behind it.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
A real person answers, asks a few fast questions, and routes the nearest available crew.
The truck that arrives is stocked specifically for Water Extraction jobs, not a generic handyman setup.
A technician assesses the scope on-site and provides a written flat-rate quote before any work begins.
Work continues until the job meets our documented completion standard, verified before we call it done.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.
"They pulled water from between our hardwood boards without warping them further, which I honestly didn't think was possible."
Jasper L., Glen Ellen"They tested pad separately from carpet, which caught moisture I would've missed entirely."
Rosalind P., Glen Ellen"No hidden per-gallon charges — the quote held exactly."
Micah S., Glen Ellen"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., Glen Ellen"Extraction under a built-in bookshelf unit was handled without us having to empty and move it ourselves first."
Zora P., Glen EllenThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
